Here's story #2...I think I will install wordpress as a quick n'dirty blog, and play with Drupal for a while.

Learning curve seems a bit steep, but it looks like it will be worth it.

for example, two different sites that use drupal:

popular science
amherst college

I really like the clean look of the Amherst site

So I've installed Drupal, but it seems a bit complicated

Maybe I'll just go with the "easy to use" Wordpress
